More Cherry Blossoms...

You don't necessarily have to go to one of the proliferation of cherry blossom festivals to see lots of pretty flowers. There are plenty of cherry blossom trees around...here you can see one of the roads in our apartment complex... View of a tree from the balcony of our apartment... I'm sure these would look better with a blue sky background... Of course, I already mentioned that I prefer magnolia blossoms so here are some pictures...please let me know which you prefer...

I like the white magnolia at the bottom best, but then I like white flowers. Don't know if they are unlucky or not.

Nice to see abit of colour though for as a contrast to the dry starkness of winter. Not something that applies here though everything very lush when you can see the grass through the standing water.

Can't figure out where any of these are in relation tio the apartment. Are any the ones below in the car park area as I seem to think the ones in the quad with the play area are some kind of coniferous trees.

The white magnolia is growing along the front of our block, the pink one the apartment block in front of ours, the cherry tree is in the corner near the rubbish bins and church and the road is as you look up from the end of our block towards the playground.

Your magnolias are struggling into leaf and flower. May be out by the time you visit.
