Happy Birthday Emily...

Emily is 3 today. Happy birthday to her.

Now, I don't believe in buying birthday cakes. Sure they look perfect, but frankly, a lot of the time they taste like crap; especially korean cakes. So every year since they were born I've made a birthday cake for each of the children. They get to suggest a theme and I do my best to accommodate them. Now, I am not a professional patisseur by any means so the decorating is sometimes a little ropey but the children seem to appreciate the effort. In fact, Alex called me cool when he saw this year's effort. Anyhow, you guys can judge for yourselves (as usual, once the whole page has finished loading, click on the photo for a larger version):

Can we play you every week?

Family Reunion...

I haven't been able to post for a while, partly because I've been working some insane hours and partly because all blogs were blocked by the Korean government for a fortnight. Anyhow, I am aiming to catch up with a couple of months of updates during the rest of this week. Expect some pictures of the parents' visit to Seoul, our visit to the Seoul Air Show, and also of the turning of the leaves in Autumn...
